Hi.
I guess it might be too late already... I think I have found another
inconsistency:
According to chapter 9.4 Port Type wsag:Agreement, the Agreement has the
following Resource Properties: wsag:Name, wsag:Id, wsag:Context, and
wsag:Terms.
The Schema files however use "wsag:AgreementId" instead of "wsag:Id":

If the group can quickly agree how to fix this
inconsistency, and give me a corrected version,
I could restart the GFSG review once it's done.
I would not be happy about moving the specification
to proposed recommendation while it possesses known
errors like this one.

Hi.
Another (less grave) problem is in section 4.2.6.1 Guarantee Term Structure:
The description of the GuaranteeTerms does not contain the (in my
opinion MANDATORY) @Name attribute even though it is inherited from
TermType and necessary for the GuaranteeTermStateList. You need it to
refer to the GuaranteeTerms. The schema files are correct though.
Best regards,
Dominic

Hi: Apologies for posting a large (well 140KB) file to all the group
but it seems I cannot access GridForge
right now.
Please find attached a **candidate** (ie not final)
to fix the two problems that Dominic pointed out.
To be on the safe side, I chose AgreementId rather than Id but if people are not happy about it then it can be changed back easily.

Hi Stephen,
Dominic is right, this inconsistency was already mentioned
several times and should have been gone since quite a while.
The schema is correct, the descriptive text has to be changed.
The second comment of Dominic we will change the description
and the schema to make it consistent. We suggest to describe both
ServiceName and Name as MANDATORY and change the Schema
accordingly.
If there is no objection we will make the changes tomorrow
morning (11 UTC), upload the new version to the gridforge
space and send it to you.
Is this ok for you?
Best regards
Wolfgang

All,
We're scheduled for our next telecon on April 11. We'll continue at the US Central time of 9:00. As daylight savings time seems to be different, I'm not sure of the exact times everywhere. Here's what they have been in the past:
9:00AM Central Standard Time US (GMT-0500)
which should be:
10:00AM Eastern Standard Time US
1600 Germany
2300 Japan
The current dialin numbers are:
Toll number: 8324452343
Toll free number: 8664809967
Conference code: 8578310
Best,

The minutes from today's meeting are attached. We will have our next
telecon at the usually scheduled time on Apr. 25 in two weeks. Because
WS-Agreement has been submitted, we will use the upcoming calls to work
on the profile for interoperability. We'd like broader participation in
the calls based on this topic.

As nobody joined the conference call today I terminated
the conference after 15 minutes.
The next call would be during OGF 20 so we drop this
one as usual and resume the bi-weekly calls May 23.
Hope to see some of you in Manchester.

Service Level Terms ? Monday 4:00-5:30
At the last OGSA F2F we discussed the need to address QoS/SLA?s in OGSA.
The first step is to define what is meant, to determine use cases, and
therefore requirements. It was noted that just defining terms is
difficult and very domain specific and that solving the general problem,
for all classes of service, is an open question. We therefore decided to
begin with a short session focused on two specific OGSA services: ByteIO
and BES. In this session we will introduce the problem, discuss the
roles of WS-Agreement and JSDL, and define prototype (strawman)
definitions of SLT?s for both services.
Proposed Agenda:
Agenda bashing
Present problem
Present examples for ByteIO and BES
Discuss role of WS-Agreement and JSDL
Next steps and action items

Hi: My name is Toshiyuki Nakata.
One of the members of the GRAAP WG.
I am hoping (if the GRAAP group mambers agree) that we can try to
to describe how WS-Agreement can contribute to OGSA BES etc.
So.. If you could give me a 10 minute slot in the session,
I can try to point out how WS-Agreement TOGETHER WITH JSDL can
can contribute to this area. ANd try to?answer any more problems we have....
Unfortunately, my English bandwidth is somehow limited, so I would need to
ask some people to be patient...
(Ane help/patience is greatly appreciated..)

Hi again:
Given the fact that the main interest in OGSA is to
discuss about the SLA's (ie, more on the Guarantee Terms)
it would be nice if somebody who has real
example of those usage would also be there.
(In our project, we used WS-Agreement more for composition/decomposition
of complex jobs.)
