declaration in schema 2, which references a simple type defined in schema

places. Schema 3's defaults have priority over schema 2's defaults, which
have priority over schema 1's defaults.</font>

<br><font size=3>Local property annotations can similarly come from all
3 places and must be non-overlapping/disjoint over all 3.</font>
