The purpose of the meeting is to map e-Science approaches in Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS). We would like to continue our discussions from OGF 20 in Manchester and OGF 21 in Seattle about a community group agenda for HASS researchers and present existing work in the area to the wider community.
Agenda:
(1.) Case Studies in Arts and Humanities and Social Science - Topic what are we doing and what can we contribute (each presentation 10 minutes + 5 minutes) (chaired by Tobias Blanke)
(a) Alex Voss: Social Shaping - The impact of Social Sciences in the grid world
(b) NN: SHAMAN
(c) Peter Gietz: eHumanities and Shifting Asymmetries in Cultural Flows - an Ontology for cultural concepts
(d) Marc Kuester: The impact that registries have on eHumanities and eHumanities on registries
(2.) Discussion of ways forward for HASS (chaired by Dave de Roure)
