Chicago is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world. It is at a relatively short train ride from O’Hare and Midway Airports, which are extremely well-connected with direct flights to/from all major and many smaller European cities, several cities in the USA, and many Asian destinations.
From O’Hare or Midway AirportIf you arrive at O’Hare or Midway Airport, you can either take a train, shuttle or a car to the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which is 17 miles (27.359 km) from O’Hare and 15 miles (24.14 km) from Midway. See Maps & Directions
Elevated Train (L) from airport to hotel
- From O'Hare: Follow signs to CTA or "trains to city" - accessible from terminals 1, 2, 3 by foot, and from terminal 5 by airport transit system (ATS) to terminal 3, then by foot. This is one end of the Blue Line - take the train to the Clark/Lake stop - walk one block north to the river, then 5 blocks east along the river to the hotel.
- From Midway: Follow signs to CTA. This is one end of the Orange Line - take train to the State/Lake stop - walk one block north to the river, then 3 blocks east along the river to the hotel.
Shuttle from airport to hotelBy shared ride shuttle- see http://www.airportexpress.com/- one way fare is about $31 from O’Hare and about $26 from Midway.
Taxis from airport to hotelBy taxi - go to the taxi stands at the airport - one way fare is about $40 from O'Hare and about $30 from Midway.
Car ride from airport to hotelBy car - not recommended, as parking at the hotel is $52/night
